On 28th February 2023 noon, Mr Fred Appiah, the Regional Manager of National Health Insurance Scheme presented a brand new pickup to the MCE of UDE on behalf of the CEO of NHIA Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye. In a short ceremony at the office of the MCE, the new vehicle was presented in the presence of the district health insurance staff led by the Manager Mr Charles Ackom Hayford and the Municipal coordinating Director Mr Asumah Adam Braimah.P
The MCE was grateful to the president His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for this new vehicle. "We are grateful to the CEO of NHIS Dr Bernard Okoe Boye and our hard working Member of Parliament Hon Dr Festus Awuah Kwofie." He said.
The vehicle which was parked at the premisses of the office of the assembly was presented by the regional NHIA manager to the Hon MCE.
