UNVEILING OF THE DISTRICT ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (DRIP) EQUIPMENT-UDEMA
The Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly led by his Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah held a short ceremony on Friday, 30th August 2024 at the Dunkwa Main Lorry Station for the Unveiling of the District Road Improvement Program (DRIP) Equipment.
The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah-Chairman for the occasion expressed his appreciations and gratitude for the honor given him. He accepted to chair the occasion with the support of everyone for it success.
The purpose of the gathering was made by the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah-Chairman for the occasion.
In his welcome address, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah-Chairman for the occasion apologized for the delay of the program. He thanked everyone especially Nananom for honoring the invitation.
He then thanked the good people of Upper Denkyira East Constituency for electing the NPP into power. He disclosed that the result has yield a positive impact for the constituency and that of the entire nation.
He assured the people of the constituency that proper care of the equipment will be taken and promised them that even after some period, Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly will be outstanding in maintenance of the equipment nationwide.
He urged the constituent to vote massively in the up-coming general election for the NPP to retain power in order to continue the good work started.
He also assured Nananom present that the problems and challenges faced with bad roads in their communities and in the Municipality will be a thing of the past. He appealed to Nananom for their support in making everything possible.
Nana Kwame Kumah III-Mbradanhene on behalf of the Traditional Council expressed their appreciations to the President of the Republic and his government for their visionary leadership. He advised everyone that the care of the equipment should be out of politics.
He disclosed that the equipment is for the entire nation so there shouldn’t be ignorance from any party affiliates but good care of the equipment should be taken to benefit all. He appealed to those who will be in charge of the equipment to manage it well as it has been entrusted into their hands.
The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah-Chairman for the occasion assisted by Nana Kwame Kumah III-Mbradanhene and others officially unveiled the equipment received from the Central Government.
