Hon. George Anane popularly known as George Anane Coleman Confirmed as MCE for Upper Denkyira East following his nomination by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama
Hon. George Anane has been officially confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Upper Denkyira East. He secured an overwhelming 37 votes out of 41 valid votes cast, representing 92.2%, with only 4 Assembly Members voting against, making up 7.8%.
This decisive confirmation marks not just a personal victory for Mr. Coleman, but a significant political milestone for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Upper Denkyira East.
For the first time in the history of the municipality, the President, the Member of Parliament, the MCE, and the majority of Assembly Members, both elected and appointed, are all from the same political tradition:
