MCE HANDS OVER SCHOOL DESKs TO GES
On Tuesday morning 7th June 2022, at around 10:30am, The MCE for Upper Denkyira East, Hon Ebenezer Forson Appiah handed over school desk/furnitures to the GES Director (UDE) for onward distribution to various beneficiary schools. The short handing over ceremony took place at the assembly hall of the assembly. In attendace was the MCE, Municipal Coordinating Director, The Outgoing Municipal GES Director, Representatives from GES, some assembly members, representatives from the assembly office and the media.
The MCE in his address said the municipality have been on top in education (B.E.C.E) and so whatever he and the assembly will do to keep and better that standard will be done, he also said in time past pupil used to bring their dest or chairs from home to their schools withing the municipality but the desk will help prevent such.
He informed the Director of GES to ensure schools get the desks on time to enhance teaching and learning within the municipality.
The GES director also thanked the MCE and promised to distribut the desks to all beneficiary schools within the municipality to enhance teaching and learning.
