Educational Support for needy and Vulnerable pupil in UDE
On monday afternoon 27th June 2022, The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Ebenezer Forson Appiah, the Municipal Coordinating Director Mr Adam Braimah Assumah joined the head of departement for Social Development Mr Joshua Alabi and staff to donate items to some selected needy and vulnerable puple in UDE.
The INTER SECTORIAL SERVICE DELIVERY PROJECT funded and supported by UNICEF GHANA and MLGRD purposed Chilid Right Protection Promotion.
The items were:
1. School Uniforms
2. Shoes
3. Socks
4. Books
5. Bags
The MCE who did the presentation said it was part of government vision to support needy and vulnerable school children in the country and the assembly was ready to aid in achieving the vision.
Mr Joshua Alabi also in an addresse with the media explianed in detail the role of social development departemnt, the funding sources for the project, the names of beneficiary schools and their pupil selected to recieve the items.
Parent of beneficiary pupil also thanked the MCE, MCD, Funding agencies and Staff of Social Development Headed b Mr Joshua ALABI.
