SOCIAL SERVICE SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING
The meeting was scheduled on tuesday, 12th July 2022, at 9:00am at Agric Confrenece Room, chaired by the Social development office: Mr Joshua ALABI and NANA MENSAH to deliberate on:
1. Educational Infrastructure and the preparation for B.E.C.E
2. Activites being implemented by Department of Social Development.
3. State of COVID-19 Vacianion in municipality: The municipal Health Direcor stated that:
1st dose 38,489 people withing the municipality have taken the first dose of vaccines and
14,902 have taken the second dose.
2,650 people have also taken the booster dose
in all 56,041 people representing 55.2% of the expected population have taken the vacines
state of teenage pregnancy:
Again in 2019
the ages10-14 yeare had 16 people
the ages15-19 years had 491 people
2020
the ages 10-14 years had 19 people
the ages 15-19 years had 512 people
members of the committee ask questions and the chairman reiterated that, decisions taken will be forwarded to Execcutive Committee Meetting (EXECO)
