MONTHLY CLEAN UP EXERCIS-SEPTEMBER EDITION
On 25th August 2022, the MCE, the Environmental Health and Sanitation unit and managment of the assembly invited all MUSEC members, all heads of Department/unit and staff of the assembly to a clean up exercise slated 3rd September 2022 6:30am to 10:00am.
At 6:30am on 3rd of September, the MCD met the security agencies, heads of department/unit and staff at premises of the office of the asembly to address them and gave them the general overview and plan for the days exercise.
The exercise was centered at the:
1. Central Market
2. Dunkwa-Ayanfuri LOrry Station
3. Zongo Market
4. Atechem Market
5. Mfuom Market
6. B.O.T
7. Kyekyewere station
8. Compound market and
9. Kumasi station
Business owners within the enclave were informed to keep their shops closed until end of the exercise at 10:00am. Principal street connecting to the central bussines area was blocked for the effectiveness of the exercise.
The exercise was sucessfull.
