BUDGET UNIT
- Reviews revenue and expenditure patterns and provides projections as inputs to the Assembly and departments' planning and budgeting process.
- Leads the process of reviewing Fee Fixing Resolutions with assistance from the District Budget Committee.
- Prepares and review budgets.
- Advises departments on budgets reviews.
- Prepares Supplementary Budgets
- Prepares DA Consolidated Budgets
- Coordinates and harmonise budgets of the Assembly, SDs and departments.
- Prepare monthly projections for expenditure and revenue to guide scheduling of award of contracts .
- Monitors achievement of budget targets.
- Monitors budget implementation
- Prepares status report of the budget versus actual performance of expenditure and revenue for incorporation into DPCU quarterly monitoring report.
- Collates all financial information emanating from the implementation of plans and budgets of the Assembly and departments.
Provides technical advice on all budgeting issues to DA, departments, SDs and agencie
